At Create Amor, we’ve always believed that supporting healthcare professionals should go beyond words.
This week in The Woodlands, Texas, that belief came to life in a way we’ll never forget.
A Moment of Recognition
What began as a routine gathering at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands quickly turned into something much more meaningful.
In partnership with the Healthcare Heroes Initiative, we had the opportunity to surprise local nurses alongside hometown country artist and 61st ACM Awards Album of the Year nominee Parker McCollum, creating a moment centered around gratitude, recognition, and human connection.
When Parker walked into the room unannounced, the reaction said everything. Shock, emotion, and joy filled the space as nurses, who spend their lives caring for others, were, for a moment, cared for.
“This community is home to me, and these nurses are a big part of what holds it together,” said Parker. “Being here to give back, even in a small way, means a lot.”
“What these nurses do every single day, it’s not easy, and it doesn’t always get recognized,” said Parker. “I’m just grateful I had the chance to come by and thank them for what they do.”
Building Something Bigger
This event is part of our broader mission through the Healthcare Heroes Initiative, a national effort created to recognize and support nurses through meaningful, real-world moments of appreciation.
“This is about showing up for those who show up for all of us,” said Matthew Vuckovich, Founder and CEO of Create Amor. “Nurses give everything every single day, and they deserve to be seen, valued, and supported. This is just the beginning of what we’re building nationally.”
As part of this initiative, we gifted 500 nurses with Create Amor scrubs, extending the impact beyond the room and into the wider healthcare community.

This moment was made possible through the support of partners who share our commitment to healthcare professionals, including Woodforest National Bank.

Every element of the experience was designed with intention.
From the surprise itself to the environment we created, our goal was simple: make nurses feel valued.
Bloom Nutrition joined us in that effort, providing complimentary energy drinks for attendees, a small but meaningful gesture of support.
Why This Matters
Recognition isn’t a luxury in healthcare. It’s essential.
“Our nurses show extraordinary compassion, strength, and commitment every day,” said John Voight, Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. “Moments like this remind them how valued they truly are, not just within our organization, but in the broader community.”
For the nurses in attendance, the impact was immediate and deeply felt.
“We don’t expect moments like this,” said one nurse. “So when something like this happens, it truly means everything. We’re incredibly grateful Parker took the time to make the day so special for nurses here in Montgomery County.”
